PATTAYA, Thailand – A four-meter-long python prompted a fire department operation in a residential area of South Pattaya early this morning. The reptile was discovered in a pond, and rescue teams arrived before 7 a.m. to safely capture the snake.

The discovery site was on a residential property directly behind Mega Home Pattaya on Sukhumvit Road. The report was received at 6:50 a.m. by the Jomtien Fire Station, prompting a three-person team to immediately deploy to the location.
At a pond near the residential building, the team found the four-meter-long python. They retrieved the animal from the water without complications and removed it from the property.
No Incidents in the Pond
The capture proceeded smoothly, according to the rescue team. The large reptile was successfully secured, and no one was injured – neither residents nor firefighters were harmed.
