Incident in the early hours on Walking Street

Witnesses said the incident took place in the early morning at around 5 a.m. in the middle of Walking Street in South Pattaya.

Instead of throwing water as is customary during Songkran, the two men reportedly used a fire extinguisher and sprayed its contents into the surrounding area.

Video goes viral – outrage on social media

A video of the incident was posted in a popular local Facebook group and spread quickly among users.

In the post, the behaviour was described as

“terrible,”

“cause trouble everywhere.”

said the post author.

White residue and visible damage to motorcycles

Reporters who went to the scene in South Pattaya found several parked motorcycles covered with a white chemical residue from the extinguisher.

Visible damage was seen on seats and body panels, which, according to the report, matched the footage circulating online.

Witnesses report anger – security staff intervene

According to eyewitnesses, passersby reacted angrily and openly criticised the two men for their actions.

Security staff calmed the situation, warned the men about their inappropriate behaviour and prevented any further escalation.

Motorcycle taxi driver: “It happened so fast”

A 43‑year‑old motorcycle taxi driver who gave her name as Orn said the men had carried the fire extinguisher and immediately started spraying.

“It happened so fast that no one could intervene in time,”

said Orn.

Extinguisher left behind – suspects flee before police arrive

People at the scene said the men left the fire extinguisher behind and fled before police officers arrived.

It remained unclear where they had obtained the extinguisher and how they had come into possession of it.

Investigation under way – police search for the men

Police launched a search for the two foreigners in order to confirm their identities and hold them accountable.

The investigation was ongoing, and no further details were initially released.
