BANGKOK, THAILAND – A 52-year-old Malaysian man died during a transit stop in Bangkok on his way to Hokkaido. Hamisi Mohammad Noor was on a company trip with colleagues when he collapsed aboard the plane on August 10.
No immediate cause of death was known. Noor was due to exit the aircraft in Bangkok and catch a connecting flight to Hokkaido.
He felt nauseous, then collapsed. Crew members tried to help him on board.

The man died during transit through Bangkok, according to Malaysian news portal Kosmo.com.my. Reports did not mention any pre-existing condition.
The group had just left the plane in Bangkok for the onward flight to Hokkaido.

Video shows crew helping passenger
A video circulating on social media shows flight attendants giving aid. The footage was posted on the Facebook page of the Islamic funeral service Mr Wan Kan Official.
Friends of Hamisi shared condolences under the video.
The video shows the moment crew members tried to revive him.
Body taken from Samitivej Suan Luang Hospital
The body was collected from Samitivej Suan Luang Hospital in Bangkok. According to Mr Wan Kan, a van brought the body toward the border crossing at Bukit Kayu Hitam.
Funeral organizations in Kulim and Kedah helped with the repatriation to Malaysia. Plans included border formalities, handover at the crossing, then the Islamic washing, shrouding, and funeral prayer.
No flight number, Kulim as destination
Reports do not state which aircraft the Malaysian man took. No flight number was given, and what killed Hamisi Mohammad Noor remains unknown.
After formalities, the body was to be taken on to Kulim.
