Harbor Pattaya to Close for Renovation

Thailand’s family entertainment landmark prepares a major upgrade to meet modern lifestyle trends

PATTAYA, THAILAND – Harbor Pattaya, one of the city’s best-known family destinations and home to Asia’s largest indoor playground, announced it will temporarily close in November 2025 for a large-scale makeover designed to modernize its facilities and enhance the visitor experience.

A vision built on shared happiness

Since opening its doors on April 1, 2016, Harbor Pattaya has positioned itself as more than a shopping complex. It was established on a philosophy of creating a “space of happiness” for all ages — a place where families could gather not only to shop but to spend unhurried time together surrounded by play, entertainment, and warmth.

At its core stands Harborland, the sprawling indoor playground that earned the complex its title as the “Ultimate Fun Mall.” Over the years, Harborland has become a beloved local landmark, drawing crowds of parents and children seeking a safe and imaginative play environment. Management has often highlighted its pride in being a part of countless family memories across Pattaya and beyond.

A phased plan for closure and renewal

According to management, all play zones will close beginning November 3, 2025, marking the first phase of the renovation. Just a few weeks later, by November 30, 2025, all remaining retail shops within the complex will shutter to allow for extensive refurbishment.

During this period, families can still visit any of Harborland’s 25 other branches nationwide, which will continue to operate as usual. The brand emphasised that every location reflects the same commitment to safe, joyful recreation that has defined the Pattaya destination.

Looking toward a new era

Officials said the transformation aims to align the mall with the lifestyle needs of contemporary families, offering updated designs, improved amenities, and new concepts for communal activities. The goal, they stated, is to ensure guests find even greater enjoyment and connection on their next visit.

The management team expressed appreciation to the local community for nearly a decade of support, noting that the trust of returning customers has been central to the mall’s success.

“WE ARE DEEPLY GRATEFUL TO EVERY FAMILY THAT HAS GROWN WITH US OVER THE YEARS,”

the team said in a closing statement, adding that Harbor Pattaya would “return with even more fun, happiness, and unforgettable memories.”

Closure begins: November 3, 2025
Complete shutdown for renovation: November 30, 2025
Branches open nationwide: 25 operational sites

When it reopens, the renewed complex is expected to further solidify Pattaya’s reputation as one of Thailand’s most family-oriented leisure hubs.
