MAE KLONG, THAILAND – Cops in Samut Songkhram busted a 29-year-old woman with a kilo of crystal meth hidden in her Mercedes engine bay and a loaded gun on the back seat.
She worked as a drug courier. Officers swooped at around 0:30 after a tip-off about a planned handover. Her ride was a Mercedes-Benz E200 CGI with Chanthaburi plates.
Drugs in engine bay, gun on back seat
The woman was alone behind the wheel when police stopped her on a road in Mueang Samut Songkhram. A search turned up one kilogram of crystal meth in the engine compartment on the driver’s side.
On the rear seat lay a semi-automatic Colt 1911 in 11mm calibre with no registration number. The weapon sat in a black cloth holster and was loaded with seven rounds.
Chats and location data on three iPhones
Cops seized three iPhones from the car. Analysis revealed chats about buying and selling drugs, photos of the seized goods, and transfer receipts.
The phones also stored shared location data. Police said the woman used it to dodge police checkpoints along her routes.
Woman admits to hauling yaba and meth
I worked as a drug courier. I have no other job. I transport drugs for money.
said the woman, 29.
I picked up five bags of yaba and four kilograms of crystal meth in Bueng Kan. I delivered the yaba and three kilos of meth to customers in Suphan Buri. The remaining kilo was my payment.

Delivery for 100,000 baht goes wrong
A customer named Earth contacted me and offered 100,000 Baht for the crystal meth. I drove to Samut Songkhram to hand it over.

Police had been watching the handover site after the tip. They moved in and arrested her. A urine drug test came back negative.
Police investigate drug network
The woman was charged with selling Category 1 drugs, possession of crystal meth for commercial resale, and illegal possession and carrying of a firearm with ammunition.
She was transferred to Mueang Samut Songkhram police station for further processing. Cops are now hunting other members of the drug network.
