PHUKET, THAILAND – A pair of stolen flip-flops landed two European tourists in police custody in Phuket after a coordinated arrest operation.

During questioning, the two detainees admitted to the offence. They confessed to stealing a pair of flip-flops from a massage spa. The motive for the theft remained unclear and was to be determined as part of the continuing investigation.
