PHUKET, Thailand – Patong Police arrested three foreign nationals on August 4 for overstaying their visas. The crackdown targeted suspected immigration law violators.
Officers detained James Chinekwu Agbo, Essam Abdullah and Ronelio Sollano during a raid aimed at possible violations of Thai immigration laws. Police did not say whether the detainees were involved in other crimes.
Arrests in Patong
Those arrested are James Chinekwu Agbo, a Nigerian, Essam Abdullah, a Kuwaiti, and Ronelio Sollano, a Filipino. Police took all three to Patong Police Station after the arrests.

Legal action has been initiated against the three foreign nationals. The case will proceed under Thai immigration laws.
