BANGKOK, Thailand – PTT Station has slashed petrol and most gasohol prices by 0.70 baht per litre from Thursday, August 6, 2026.
The new rates kick in at 05:00 hours. Diesel and premium gasohol grades stay exactly where they are.
70 satang less per litre from Thursday
PTT Station is cutting retail prices for petrol and all gasohol varieties by 0.70 baht per litre. The only exceptions are Premium Gasohol 95 and Premium Gasohol 99.
The adjustment takes effect on August 6, 2026, at 05:00. Prices for both premium gasohol grades and all diesel types remain unchanged.
Here are the new petrol and gasohol prices
Petrol now costs 44.98 baht per litre. Gasohol 95 comes in at 35.99 baht, E20 at 30.99 baht, and E85 at 26.93 baht per litre.
Gasohol 91 sits at 35.62 baht per litre. Premium Gasohol 95 stays at 47.79 baht, Premium Gasohol 99 holds at 49.79 baht per litre.
Diesel prices remain unchanged
Diesel B7 still costs 36.69 baht per litre, Diesel B20 31.69 baht. Premium diesel remains at 50.05 baht per litre.
These retail prices do not yet include the Bangkok promotion tax.
Drivers save 35 baht on a 50-litre tank
Anyone filling 50 litres of petrol or regular gasohol pays around 35 baht less than before. The actual saving depends on the amount pumped and the fuel type chosen.
Drivers of petrol, Gasohol 95, Gasohol 91, E20, or E85 benefit most. Premium gasohol and diesel drivers see no change at the pump.
Prices valid from Thursday morning
The new rates apply from Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 05:00. Drivers should note that individual stations may see minor differences or delays in the switchover.
Fuel prices at PTT still vary widely by grade. It pays to check the price board before filling up.
