Thailand’s government has unveiled a comprehensive security strategy aimed at protecting both citizens and foreign visitors. The primary objective is the rigorous suppression of cross-border crime, including call center gangs and human trafficking operations.
The Prime Minister issued a directive to all authorities emphasizing the need to alleviate suffering, enhance public welfare, safeguard peace, eradicate drugs, and dismantle criminal organizations.

Government spokesperson Rachada Dhnadirek stated that modern criminal networks are intricate and internationally interconnected. Consequently, Thailand must urgently enhance its technological capabilities and foster cross-border cooperation.
The Royal Thai Police has developed the SHIELD Big Data platform. This system integrates vast databases, digital evidence, and international financial intelligence to identify suspects and disrupt criminal networks at their core.

SHIELD is designed to close legal loopholes that criminals have exploited to evade prosecution. It builds upon the work of the Warroom IAC and the Anti-Cyber Scam Centre, elevating investigations to a new level.

IBOC will maintain round-the-clock surveillance in economically significant zones and tourist hotspots, enabling authorities to respond immediately to incidents. This enhances monitoring to be comprehensive and automated.
