PATTAYA, THAILAND – Pattaya will host the 28th Burapa Pattaya Bike Week from February 5 to 7, 2026, drawing thousands of bikers to the eastern coastal city for what organisers billed as one of Asia’s most iconic motorcycle festivals.
Preparations under way after city planning meeting
Preparations were already well under way. On October 16, Vice Mayor Manot Nongyai chaired a key planning meeting at Pattaya City Hall with representatives of the Burapa Motorcycle Club, led by president Prasan Nikaji, to coordinate logistics and the event programme. Attendees reviewed transport routes, crowd management, safety arrangements and detailed schedules as organisers stepped up work ahead of the three‑day rally.
“Pattaya is proud to support an event that not only celebrates biker culture but also stimulates tourism and local incomes,” Vice Mayor Manot told participants, emphasising the city’s role as host and coordinator.
Location and theme revealed
The festival will occupy the Eastern National Sports Training Center Park on Chaiyapruek 2 Road, a venue frequently used for large public events. While the Burapa Bike Week is widely associated with the long‑standing ethos “Ride for Peace,” organisers said the official theme for the 2026 edition will be “Wheel of Nostalgia,” signalling a programme that will blend memories of classic biker culture with the movement’s contemporary spirit.
Economic boost for the region
Local officials said the annual gathering delivers a sizeable economic injection. Hotels, restaurants, fuel stations and shops all saw higher demand during previous editions, and the event has become an important revenue driver for Pattaya and the wider eastern seaboard.
“The Bike Week brings thousands of visitors and creates business across many sectors,” the vice mayor said, noting that the Pattaya Tourism and Sports Office has been appointed as the central coordination body and will convene further planning sessions in the months ahead.
More than motorcycles: charity and safety programmes
Organisers stressed that the festival was not solely a series of rides and concerts. The Burapa Motorcycle Club has a long record of community engagement and social initiatives. Club president Prasan said the rally traditionally includes charity events, peace parades and campaigns to promote safer riding.
“We are known for our charitable activities, peace parades and efforts to promote responsible riding,” Prasan said, underlining the club’s focus on public outreach and road safety.
The club’s programme typically featured safety campaigns aimed at motorcyclists, fundraising for local causes, community charity work and awareness drives on responsible driving.
International turnout expected
Organisers expect a strong turnout from both domestic and international riding groups. Over nearly three decades the Burapa Pattaya Bike Week has evolved into a cross‑border phenomenon that attracts enthusiasts from across Asia and beyond, offering participants a chance to reconnect with old friends and forge new ties within the global biker community.
Countdown to February
With just months to go, officials said work on permits, security plans and event logistics would intensify. The Pattaya Tourism and Sports Office will act as the hub for coordination between municipal services, the motorcycle club and private contractors.
When the engines roar in February 2026, Pattaya will once again host a multi‑day celebration of motorcycling culture framed, organisers said, by themes of peace, community and shared heritage. The festival’s mix of entertainment, charitable activity and economic impact will test the city’s event infrastructure — and for many participants, it will be an annual highlight.
