Pattaya Music Festival turns city into beach stage

Month-long 2026 event offers free beachfront concerts across four weekends with a green focus

PATTAYA, THAILAND – Since 6 March, the Pattaya Music Festival 2026 has turned the city’s beaches into an open-air stage for a full month of free concerts aimed at boosting tourism and the local economy.

Opening night at Central Beach draws senior officials

The festival officially opened on 6 March at 7 p.m. at the Central Pattaya Beach stage. Naris Niramaiwong, governor of Chonburi province, presided over the ceremony.

He was joined by Phansak Ketwattana from the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization and Poramese Ngampiches, mayor of Pattaya City. Representatives from the city administration, municipal council, police and other agencies also attended the launch.

City and province coordinate joint festival push

The event was organized as a joint project between Pattaya City and the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization. Both sides worked together to position the festival as a major draw for visitors.

Promoters highlighted what they described as “world-class” standards in lighting and sound. They also stressed a strong focus on safety and visitor comfort in order to attract international guests to the beachfront venues.

Four March weekends, four locations across Pattaya

Concerts were scheduled on four consecutive March weekends, each Friday and Saturday. The series began at Central Pattaya Beach on 6 and 7 March under the motto “Pattaya Waves Got Rhythm.”

The second weekend was set for 13 and 14 March at Jomtien Beach in front of The Now Hotel, followed by shows on 20 and 21 March at Samae Beach on Koh Larn. The final concerts were planned for 27 and 28 March at Bodhi Plaza in Naklua Public Park.

T-POP, rock and hip-hop against a sea backdrop

The line-up focused on well-known Thai acts from T-POP, rock and hip-hop. Performances were staged against the natural backdrop of sand, sea and surf.

On the opening night, artists VIIS, TIGGER, JACKIE JACKRIN, PERSES and DA Endorphine performed and set the tone for the weeks ahead. The program was designed to appeal to a broad audience of locals and visitors.

Saturday shows continue with packed schedule

The festival continued at the Central Beach location on 7 March from 6 p.m. onwards. Acts announced for the Saturday evening included ALALA, VVV, BLUE PONGTIWAT, ATLAS and 4EVE.

Staging concerts at multiple venues around the city was explicitly intended to support trade, hotels and the food and beverage sector. Organizers expected that spreading visitor flows across different areas would bring wider economic benefits.

Green label and free entry aimed at tourists

Promoters marketed the series as a Green Music Festival and emphasized measures to reduce plastic use at the events. The environmental angle was presented as part of a broader effort to modernize the city’s image.

Admission to all shows remained free of charge and was framed as a public offering for residents and tourists alike. Organizers said the festival was designed to strengthen Pattaya’s reputation as an international tourism city and cultural destination.
