LAEM CHABANG, THAILAND – The international cruise ship Mein Schiff 6 docked on schedule at Laem Chabang deep-sea port on Saturday morning and was processed under tightly organized immigration procedures.
Early morning arrival at deep-sea port
The cruise vessel Mein Schiff 6, sailing under the Maltese flag, arrived at Pier A1 in Laem Chabang port at around 7:00 a.m. on 3 January 2026. It had previously sailed from Ko Samui, where responsibility had rested with the Surat Thani immigration office.
According to authorities, there were 958 crew members on board. Processing was carried out by the Laem Chabang immigration unit, which was responsible for international ship arrivals in the region.
Immigration officials oversee entry procedures
The operation was led by Col. Naphatphong Khosit Suriyamanee, head of Chonburi Immigration. He was supported by Lt. Col. Kawinwat Arayasuriwong and Lt. Col. Pradit Prajak, who jointly organized the entry procedures at the pier.
Officers from the Laem Chabang immigration office ensured that all entry formalities for the ship and its crew were observed. According to the authorities, the focus was on swift processing and compliance with legal requirements for international passengers and crew.
Stop designed to promote regional tourism
Officials stated that the call by Mein Schiff 6 was specifically intended to allow passengers to spend time in Chonburi province and nearby tourist areas. From Laem Chabang, beach destinations and coastal towns in the surrounding area were considered popular targets for cruise visitors.
