Four adults and a young girl lost consciousness after consuming jellyfish served at the barbecue. Those affected experienced a rapid onset of nausea, vomiting and breathing difficulties.

Other guests immediately contacted the Ruamkatanyu Foundation, whose rescue team responded and transported the victims to a nearby hospital. Medical teams provided emergency treatment on arrival, with breathing problems identified as a particularly serious concern. Doctors stressed that respiratory distress required prompt intervention.
