Global Jet-Ski World Cup Set for Pattaya

Thai Airways-backed waterjet series to bring elite riders from 40 countries to Jomtien Beach

PATTAYA, THAILAND – Pattaya was set to become an international stage in December for the Thai Airways International WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup 2025, bringing jet-ski professionals from 40 countries to Jomtien Beach.

World Cup scheduled for December at Jomtien Beach

The Thai Airways International WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup 2025 was scheduled to take place from 17 to 21 December 2025 at Jomtien Beach in the city of Pattaya. Organisers described the series as the “World’s No.1 Waterjet Professional Series”, attracting what they said were the best jet-ski riders from around the globe.

Riders from 40 countries expected

Competitors from 40 countries were expected to take part in the event. Participants were due to race in several classes, competing for titles and prestige within the professional series.

Organisers call on fans to support riders

Ahead of the competition, organisers appealed to spectators to back their national teams and athletes on site.

“Cheer for your riders from 40 countries around the globe!”

said the organisers, calling for fan support at Jomtien Beach.

Boost to Pattaya as a watersports hub

The multi-day competition was expected to further strengthen Pattaya’s role as a venue for major watersports events. Jomtien Beach, one of the city’s key coastal areas, regularly served as a stage for international competitions and festivals. The description of the series as “World Class” underlined the ambition to assemble a high-calibre field of professional jet-ski athletes.
