District chief Patcharaphat Srithanyanon ordered the operation at approximately 18:00 on 14 November 2025 in Banglamung district to enforce the anti-drug policy of Governor Naris Niramaiwong, which intensified local enforcement pressure. Deputy district chief Wanchat Wannaphram led the action with Administrative Operations Group personnel and administrative officer Khampaai Lao-san in Pattaya.

Four arrests across Chonburi province
• Officers arrested Anan Chaisukosol, 35, at the Chiw Market in Pattaya with 28.94 grams of crystal methamphetamine and four Yaba tablets.
• Investigators proceeded to a condominium on Soi Chat Kaeo 9, where they detained Yuranan Unsi, 38, with 122.85 grams of crystal methamphetamine and ten Yaba tablets.
• At Wat Takhian Tia in the Takhian Tia subdistrict, officers encountered Chaiwat Bamrungchat, 42, a novice monk found with 52.95 grams of crystal methamphetamine. Officers documented that the suspect attempted to climb a wall during the 14 November 2025 operation in Pattaya before being detained.
• Officers also detained Suriyan Chanchana, 39, on Soi Huay Yai with 80 Yaba tablets recovered at the scene.
Evidence processing and legal consequences
Police in Banglamung transferred all four suspects into official custody for further questioning and submitted the narcotics for forensic evaluation. Thai investigators in Chonburi reported that the suspects faced charges under Thailand’s narcotics laws, which impose severe penalties, including potential life sentences for methamphetamine distribution.
