Fake Doctor Busted for Meth at Bangkok Love Hotel

Bangkok Police Unmask ‘Doctor Golf’ in Drug Sting Targeting LGBTQIA+ Community

Bangkok police arrest a man known as “Doctor Golf” after a sting operation reveals he distributes crystal meth to LGBTQIA+ clients at a love hotel.

Undercover Operation Exposes Fake Doctor’s Shocking Scheme

Officers from the Metropolitan Police Bureau launch a sting at a love hotel in Watthana district, Bangkok, after reports of a man posing as a doctor and supplying drugs to gay couples.

The suspect, Kom-anan, 39, gains trust by presenting himself as a medical professional. He injects crystal meth during sexual encounters and even participates in the acts.

Police say, “He was known among his clients as ‘Doctor Golf,’ and he often filmed explicit videos without their consent.”

Meth, Sex, and Secret Recordings

Golf not only administers drugs but also secretly records explicit videos of his clients. These videos are later uploaded online, further victimizing those involved.

Investigators discover he has over 100 clients across Bangkok and frequently changes locations to avoid arrest.

During the sting, an undercover officer poses as a client and arranges to buy drugs. Golf insists on sex as part of the deal, delaying the meeting for over a week.

Arrest and Evidence Seized

When the meeting finally occurs, Golf arrives with a syringe of crystal meth and instructs his associate to begin sexual activities with the undercover officer.

At the officer’s signal, police move in and arrest Golf. They seize syringes, 7.2 grammes of crystal meth, Viagra, unused syringes, boxes of drugs ready for shipment, and two mobile phones containing explicit content.

Suspect’s Criminal Past and Motive

During questioning, Golf confesses to three previous prison sentences for theft, procuring a minor, and drug offences. Released less than a year ago, he says he turned to drug dealing after struggling to find work.

He admits, “I started this for income, but my gambling addiction ruined me.”

Second Arrest and Ongoing Investigation

Police also arrest Paveena, 40, the woman who owns the room where Golf stays. She denies involvement, claiming she only let him stay temporarily and plans to leave Thailand soon.

Investigators remain skeptical, as evidence links both suspects to drug possession and trafficking. Both are taken to Khlong Tan Police Station for further legal action.

The case raises concerns about drug distribution and exploitation within Bangkok’s LGBTQIA+ nightlife, as police continue their investigation.
