Hua Hin, Thailand – EZY Airlines is planning a new flight connection between Hua Hin and Suvarnabhumi International Airport, potentially opening up easier access to the popular coastal destination.
EZY Airlines announced on Facebook that it is planning a flight connection between Hua Hin and the international airport Suvarnabhumi. The airline stated that the “gateway to the beach will open soon” and encouraged interested parties to stay tuned. The Ministry of Transport and local authorities have held discussions; for travelers, this would represent a new, fast connection to Hua Hin.
EZY’s Facebook Update and Contact Options
In early June, EZY Airlines published a brief announcement on its official Facebook page regarding the planned connection, writing that the “gateway to the beach will open soon.” In the post, the airline also provided contact options via phone, WhatsApp, Line, and email for inquiries.
As of June 6, EZY had not yet provided details on ticket prices, flight schedules, frequency, booking channels, or a precise launch date.
Meeting with the Ministry of Transport on May 15
On May 15, Deputy Minister of Transport Phattharaphong Phattharaprasit met with representatives from EZY Airlines to discuss the potential route. The discussion was part of coordination between the government and the airline regarding new regional connections.
The Ministry of Transport stated that it supports airlines opening new routes and, with its “Airport for Regional Development” policy, aims to further utilize the facilities of the Department of Airports.
Which Aircraft Will Be Used?
EZY plans to operate the connection using the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX. This aircraft has a capacity for approximately 10 to 12 passengers.
The airline focuses on short routes under 60 minutes and has already been operating a 152-kilometer connection between Hat Yai and Betong since June 2025, with Hat Yai serving as the main hub.
Demonstration Flights and Ezy Connect 2025 in Hua Hin
On November 8, 2025, EZY Airlines conducted demonstration flights from Hua Hin with the Cessna. During these flights, hotel representatives, business organizations, and media were able to visit the coast and nearby natural areas. The flights served as a showcase for potential partners and interested parties.
On the same day, EZY hosted the Ezy Connect Event 2025 at the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort. The business matching session was presided over by Preeda Sukjai, the Deputy Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan.
Concrete Consequences for Travelers
Should the connection be confirmed, it would offer a new travel option between Hua Hin and Thailand’s main international airport, providing guests with an additional way to reach the city. This could improve the accessibility of Hua Hin.
