The women wore only bikinis while sunbathing on the public lawn, and one was stretched out with her legs extended, her feet pointing directly toward the temple, a gesture considered highly disrespectful in Thai culture.

A local citizen using the name “Admin Mana” took photos of the scene and posted them on the popular Facebook page “Expose Chiang Mai V2.” The reaction was immediate, with hundreds of users sharing the images and expressing anger, many insisting the behavior had gone too far.
