BANGKOK, Thailand – Police have ordered legal action against St. Gabriel’s College students who allegedly attacked and threatened a classmate with a gun. The case was reported on August 8.
The alleged attack happened on the evening of July 21 in the Samsen area. Police are now gathering evidence and summoning both sides and their parents to give statements.
Police prepare case against students
Commissioner Siam Boonsom of the Metropolitan Police Bureau ordered the commander of Metropolitan Police Division 1, Worasak Phisitbanakorn, to handle the case.
Investigators from Samsen Police Station are collecting evidence. They are pursuing charges of gang assault and threatening another person with a firearm.
Students to face juvenile court
Police say the students involved in the attack and threat will be brought before the Juvenile and Family Court.
Because the suspects are minors, proceedings follow juvenile justice rules. A multi-disciplinary team is involved.
Feud between classmates
