The investigation into the death of seven-year-old Nong Angun has concluded with a full confession from her 12-year-old sister, who has been arrested and charged. A 17-year-old relative, identified as Mr. Pae, reportedly assisted in hiding and transporting the body. Investigators from multiple units conducted a crime scene reconstruction and have declared the case closed.

Nong Angun disappeared from her family home on May 30 and was discovered deceased on June 1 in a rubber plantation in Village 4, Ban Thikrong, Prangphe Subdistrict, Sangkhla Buri District. Investigators stated that the accused initially hid the body in a wardrobe, then placed it in a sack. They reportedly transported it to the discovery site using a tricycle.
