PATTAYA, THAILAND – Thai immigration officers arrested a French national wanted by Interpol in the resort city of Pattaya, ending an international manhunt.

The 32-year-old Mr. Bones had been the subject of an Interpol Red Notice over serious allegations of involvement in international drug trafficking. He arrived in Thailand via Suvarnabhumi Airport in December 2025, intending to hide among tourists and prepare an escape to a third country. Officers from Immigration Division 3 tracked him to a hideout on the outskirts of Pattaya.
Swift arrest under senior police command
The operation was carried out under the command of Police Lieutenant General Panumas Boonyalak and was described as rapid and precise. The suspect was detained and his visa was immediately cancelled, and he was placed in prison pending deportation.

According to investigators, Mr. Bones acted as an important intermediary for drug deals between Europe and America within a particularly dangerous and well-organised network. There he faced up to ten years in prison for his alleged offences, with Thai authorities set to hand him over to the French justice system.
