BANGKOK, THAILAND – A popular German-style Christmas market returned to the Goethe-Institut Thailand at the end of November 2025.
German Christmas market announced for late November
The Goethe-Institut Thailand and the Thai-German Cultural Foundation (TDKS) hosted a traditional German Christmas market in Bangkok on 29 and 30 November 2025. The institute’s grounds were transformed into a festive market area for the two-day event.
Over 50 stalls with seasonal food and gifts
Visitors were offered a wide range of choices at more than 50 stalls, featuring typical Christmas treats, drinks and seasonal gift items. Workshops and activities provided entertainment for all age groups throughout the opening hours.
Prize draw with flights from Bangkok to Germany
A major attraction of the event was a large tombola with a travel-focused top prize. As the main reward, two round-trip flight tickets from Bangkok to Germany were raffled among participants.
Opening hours and ticket options
The Christmas market took place on Saturday and Sunday, 29–30 November 2025, from 12:00 to 22:00. The venue was the Goethe-Institut Thailand on Sathorn Soi 1, near MRT Lumphini, Exit 2.
