Community group prepares for November 2025 royal memorial and Pattaya festival participation

TAKHIAN TIA, THAILANDThe Takhian Tia Women’s Committee launched new social initiatives and confirmed participation in upcoming royal and regional events during its November session in Chonburi province.

Royal Tribute and Upcoming Events

Under the leadership of Supaporn Prakobtham, President of the Women’s Committee, the November meeting at Takhian Tia Municipal Meeting Hall included 35 members preparing for a royal memorial at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall on 21 November 2025.

“It is an honor for us to pay our final respects to the Queen Mother and to recognize her contributions to the nation,”

said Supaporn Prakobtham, President of the Takhian Tia Women’s Committee.

The members also confirmed their group’s participation in the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2025, scheduled for 28–29 November at Central Pattaya Beach, held under the theme “The Light of Eternal Royalty.” Committee representatives planned to distribute memorial ribbons to festival visitors.

Community Outreach and Support

During the meeting, Supaporn Prakobtham introduced new local programs to strengthen social cohesion, including the “Women Sharing Kindness” initiative. Committee members visited senior citizens, people with disabilities, and low-income families in Takhian Tia Subdistrict later the same day, delivering food, drinking water, and household essentials.

Local Government Endorsement

The session was attended by Jaran Prakobtham, former Mayor of Takhian Tia, and Khwanyuen Prakobtham, current Deputy Mayor. Both leaders presented the attendees with new uniform vests and offered encouragement for their continued social efforts.

Meechai Inthaphithak, Chair of the Advisory Council for the Banglamung District Women’s Committee, also joined the meeting and acknowledged the group’s volunteer contributions to Chonburi’s local development initiatives.

Continuing Efforts Across Chonburi

The Takhian Tia Women’s Committee has maintained a monthly meeting schedule to review progress on social projects in the northern part of Pattaya. Activities focus on women’s leadership, education, and family welfare across Chonburi province.
