Jealousy Sparks Late-Night Violence
The injured man tells police he met a woman at a South Pattaya bar earlier that evening. After hitting it off, he invited her to continue drinking and stay with him at the resort.
Shortly after, a man claiming to be the woman’s boyfriend bursts into the room. An argument quickly escalates, ending with the guest being assaulted and left bleeding.

This Chon Buri resort incident follows a string of violent altercations in Pattaya. In a separate case, a 33-year-old Indian tourist alleges he was attacked and threatened with a firearm by an Indian nightclub manager and his bodyguards on Walking Street after a dispute over a gold necklace.
Just days earlier, a Chinese tourist was hospitalised after reportedly being struck with a bottle for making offensive remarks about local bar workers.
