PATTAYA, THAILAND – The Thai Coffee Festival will return to Central Pattaya Beach from November 14 to 16, 2025, bringing together coffee enthusiasts, artisans, and musicians for a free public celebration of Thailand’s growing coffee culture.
Honoring a Royal Legacy
This year’s event, themed “Thai Coffee from Royal Initiative…to Inspiration and Sustainable Development,” will pay tribute to His Royal Majesty the King’s agricultural initiatives that transformed coffee cultivation in Thailand’s northern highlands. A centerpiece zone titled “Coffee from the Royal Heart” will highlight projects empowering local farmers while encouraging environmentally friendly production methods.
Organizers said the festival seeks to merge heritage with sustainability, reflecting Thailand’s push to elevate its domestic beans onto the world stage. Visitors will find beachside stalls featuring local cafés, restaurants, roasteries, and craft producers, alongside art sessions and expert-led coffee discussions.
Seminars and Expert Talks
On November 14, two keynote seminars will explore the evolution of Chonburi’s coffee scene. The morning session, “Chonburi Coffee Story: Thai Coffee…from Royal Initiative to Inspiration,” will feature farmers and upstream producers recounting how royal projects reshaped the industry. Later, “From Royal Initiative to Thai Coffee on the Global Stage” will bring together roasters, growers, and baristas discussing how Thai coffee competes internationally.
Hands-On Workshops and Tastings
Practical workshops will allow participants to learn from professionals. On November 15, “Easy Latte Art by Alternative Dairy Co.” will offer a beginner-friendly introduction for 15 participants. Another highlight, “Brew . Flow . Beach,” will invite visitors to taste rare beans from Mani Phruk Village in Nan Province, processed by the Pattaya/Chonburi Café and Bistro Club under their “Campfire, Stargazing, Coffee Sipping” program.
High-Stakes Beach Competitions
Competitive events will stretch across three days. On November 14, the “Tasters Battle on the Beach” will see the reigning CBC King of Coffee champion face off against the Thailand National Cup Tasters Championship winner in a blind tasting duel. That evening also includes the “Coffee on the Beach Latte Art Smackdown 2025.”
From November 15 to 16, professional baristas will vie in the CBC King of Coffee 2025 competition, a national platform aimed at advancing Thailand’s reputation in global coffee standards.
Daily Drip and Music Finale
Each morning from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m., festival hosts Pi Pi, Pi Tong, and Pi Korn will lead the Pattaya Morning Drip, featuring slow-brew experiences with select Thai beans. The Pattaya All-Day Drip tasting, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., will highlight premium regional and international varieties with guest curators.
The festival will close on November 16 at 7:00 p.m. with a free beach concert by popular Thai rock band THE PARKINSON, offering visitors a relaxed finale under the lights of Pattaya Bay.
Event Logistics and Access
Main activities will run from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. opposite the Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya. Admission is free, with complimentary parking available at Terminal 21 Pattaya, served by a shuttle every half hour throughout the day.
Organizers encouraged early attendance to make the most of the program.
