PATTAYA, THAILAND – The Pattaya Music Festival 2026 took over Samae Beach on Koh Larn on 20 and 21 March, offering two nights of free live music as the city urged visitors to plan ferries and accommodation early.
Week 3 moves to the island
The third stop of the Pattaya Music Festival 2026 was held on 20 and 21 March on Samae Beach on Koh Larn. After the first two weekends at Central Pattaya Beach and Jomtien Beach, the organizers deliberately shifted the stage from the mainland to the holiday island off Pattaya.
The move turned the island beach into an open-air venue aimed at drawing crowds away from the city shoreline. The island setting also underlined the festival’s strategy of spreading events across different coastal locations.
A month of music under a rhythm motto
The festival ran throughout March under the motto “Pattaya Waves Got Rhythm”. Every Friday and Saturday, beaches and islands around Pattaya were transformed into open-air concert spaces to boost tourism and local atmosphere.
According to the organizers, the month-long series was designed to keep visitor numbers high beyond single holiday dates. The concept positioned the event as a recurring weekend draw for both residents and tourists.
Friday lineup – from PURPEECH to BIG ASS
On 20 March, the lineup started at 6 p.m. with PURPEECH. The program continued with GUNNER – YOUNGGU DIAMOND, GAVIN:D and WANYAI, leading up to headliner BIG ASS at 11 p.m.
The organizers relied on a mix of T-POP, rock and urban sounds. These genres were combined with the beach backdrop and evening breeze on Koh Larn to create a distinct island concert atmosphere.
Saturday – The TOYS closes late
On 21 March, the program again began at 6 p.m., opening with BLVCKHEART THAOWAN. Performances continued with Z9 – SEXSKI – 2K 2TFLOW – 1ST, Mirrr and BOWKYLION.
The final act, The TOYS, was scheduled for 11 p.m., setting up another clear peak-time finale for the second night. The structure mirrored Friday’s late-night climax, keeping the focus on headline sets.
Free entry – gates open from 5 p.m.
Admission began at 5 p.m. on both days, and entry to all shows was completely free, according to the city. Announced features included professional sound and lighting technology as well as safety measures.
The setting was intentionally geared toward “island vibes” and the sound of the sea. The city highlighted the combination of production standards and natural scenery as part of the festival experience.
Finale in late March in Naklua
After Koh Larn, the concert series was scheduled to end on 27 and 28 March at Bodhi Plaza in the Naklua Public Park. With this final stop, the organizers extended the festival’s presence across multiple districts.
They aimed to further position Pattaya as a “Festival City” and “Event City” that attracts visitors year-round, not only on individual holidays. The broader goal was to anchor large-scale events as a permanent feature of the local tourism calendar.
Information and why early booking mattered
Organizers expected large crowds and therefore advised early planning, especially for ferry bookings to Koh Larn and for overnight stays. They warned that demand for transport and accommodation could be high during the festival weekend.
