KAENG KHOI, SARABURI – A deceased man was discovered on June 13th in a remote forest area, with distinctive dragon tattoos on his jaw posing a puzzling mystery as the victim’s identity remains unclear.

A grim discovery was made by a volunteer from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation while collecting bamboo shoots with his wife. The lifeless body was found face-up in a watercourse flowing down from a mountain.
The location is situated near the Thap Kwang-Hulin Cemetery road, between the sub-districts of Thap Kwang and Cham Phak Phaeo. Rescuers had to navigate through dense undergrowth to recover the corpse.

Somsak Laongdin, 43, recounted that he and his wife had ridden their motorcycle to the base of the mountain. While digging near a large tree, they encountered the partially submerged body and immediately returned home.
There, Somsak alerted other volunteers and the village headman of Thap Kwang, who subsequently notified the police.

The body showed signs of injuries. Officers secured four spent cartridges of 11-millimeter caliber at the scene. The deceased was wearing cream-colored shorts and a yellow crew-neck shirt.
The tattoos on his jaw were particularly striking. The inscription “Rueanphen-Saraleu, Batch 1” provides investigators with an initial clue, though the identity has not yet been officially confirmed.

Police Colonel Keseda Watcharanon, deputy commander of the Saraburi Provincial Police, stated that initial assessments indicate the man was killed elsewhere and then placed in the remote forest. The body showed no signs of decomposition, suggesting death occurred no more than three days prior.
According to the police, the handcuffs used are readily available on the open market. Keseda instructed investigators to review missing person reports from neighboring areas and to examine CCTV footage from village roads near the discovery site for suspicious vehicles.
