PHUKET, THAILAND – Customs and drug enforcement officers apprehended a 32-year-old South African woman at Phuket International Airport on June 11th, uncovering a significant drug smuggling operation. In addition to the drugs, authorities confiscated a Samsung mobile phone and a foreign SIM card as evidence. These items are crucial in understanding the operational details of the smuggling attempt.

Following the arrest, officers escorted the South African woman and the seized items to the customs office at the airport’s cargo building. A formal examination took place there before investigators handed the suspect over to the relevant authorities.
