BANGKOK, THAILAND – Special forces apprehended four men accused of gang rape and the abduction of two 17-year-old girls. Arrest warrants were issued by the Phra Khanong Criminal Court in early June, and investigators handed over the accused to local police for further prosecution.
Special Command Carried Out the Arrests
Police Major General Teerachart Teerachartthamrong ordered the operation, with Police Colonel Boonlue Phadungthin, Police Colonel Apichon Khanka, and Police Lieutenant Colonel Paiboon Phimkamnerd leading the operational units. The arrests took place on June 6, 2026.
The arrested men were identified as Ratthathammanoon (30), Khathawut (21), Nattawut (20), and Kittiphan (22). According to police, arrest warrants were issued for them by the Phra Khanong Criminal Court.
Warrants and Allegations Detail
The court issued arrest warrants (No. 520-23/2026) on June 2, 2026, for gang rape and taking minors for indecent purposes. The charges pertain to acts against individuals under 18 years old.
Law enforcement documents state that the accused allegedly brought the victims to a location and committed severe offenses against sexual self-determination.
Location and Course of the Incident
Investigators report that the alleged incident occurred in late 2025 in a short-term rental room in the Nong Bon area, Prawet district. Authorities stated that one of the accused, Kittiphan, brought his friends to the room.
Other locations mentioned in the case files include a house in the On Nut sub-district and the Eiam Sombat Market on Soi Srinakarin 26, Suan Luang district, Bangkok.
How the Investigation Began
Following the incidents, the two girls filed a report with the police. Investigators then gathered evidence and applied for arrest warrants from the responsible court.
The collected evidence was deemed sufficient for the Criminal Court to issue the aforementioned arrest warrants against the four men.
Accused Deny Allegations
All four men deny the accusations. They claim that N.S. A invited the group and that the sexual acts were consensual.
Police are juxtaposing the statements of the accused against the raised accusations and are now proceeding with further prosecution steps.
Handover to Investigative Authority
After their arrest, the operational units transferred the four accused to the Phra Khanong Police Station** for further prosecution. Investigations will continue formally there.
