Pickpocketing in Soi Sukhumvit 38
A Qatari national, Abdulla MuaareJ, reported to the Thong Lor Police Station on June 2nd that his bag was snatched in Soi Sukhumvit 38. Two men on a blue Honda Giorno are alleged to have taken the bag from the victim and fled towards Inbound Sukhumvit Road.
The stolen bag contained 20,000 Baht, credit cards, and other cards. The incident highlights a concern for tourist safety in popular areas.
Arrest in Huai Khwang
Police apprehended the suspected perpetrator, Anusorn Rodudom, aged 26, on June 3rd around 6:50 PM in a restaurant in the Huai Khwang district, according to reports. The arrest was announced by officials from the Metropolitan Police Bureau on June 4th, involving senior officers from Metropolitan Police Division 5 and the Thong Lor Police Station.

Three Suspects, Three Roles
Investigators identified three individuals as suspects: Worachon Hoonthong, 30, allegedly acted as a lookout; Jakraphat Koetphuet, 32, is accused of operating the blue Giorno; and Anusorn is believed to have carried out the actual bag-snatching. Worachon reportedly rode a black-red Honda Wave 125i, while Jakraphat operated the blue-black Honda Giorno+. Police are continuing their efforts to locate the two fugitives.

Police stated that the suspects used motorcycles during the crime and altered the license plate to hinder their identification and discovery.
