Local media reports and a widely shared video on social networks show a man who allegedly damaged motorcycles in a residential area of Phuket. The footage captured a shirtless man in black shorts carrying bags and holding a knife.
He reportedly screamed loudly on the street and cut the seats of the motorcycles. Witnesses described his behavior as similar to someone under the influence of drugs.
Shop Signs Also Damaged
A local Facebook page identified the man as a British national. According to the page, he also damaged shop signage in the area.
Authorities initially released no further details about the suspect or possible charges.
