BANGKOK, THAILAND – A Thai doctor issued a stark warning to air passengers after an alleged theft on a domestic flight left him missing nearly 200,000 baht in cash.
Short flight, major loss
The physician, known online as “Mor Ta” and working at the The V-Sage Clinic, reported the incident on an approximately one-hour flight from Udon Thani to Bangkok. He said he had placed his bag as usual in the overhead compartment above his seat.
Only after landing did he notice that almost 200,000 baht in cash was missing from the bag. The discovery turned what had been a routine domestic journey into a case now under police investigation.
Suspicious behavior on board
During the flight, the doctor said he observed a Chinese passenger who stood up unusually often and walked toward the toilet. According to his account, this behavior drew his attention.

The doctor explained that he had been carrying a substantial amount of cash from his clinic, intending to deposit it into a bank account after arrival. The money was meant to be transferred safely once he reached Bangkok.
