PATTAYA, THAILAND – Police investigators in Nongprue recovered and returned a foreign visitor’s wallet containing a large amount of cash and valuables completely intact.
Wallet lost at temple entrance
The incident took place near the Wat Khao Pho Thong temple close to Pattaya, where tourist Alexander Biom said he had accidentally dropped his wallet near the entrance. The wallet contained a substantial sum of cash and other important personal items, a loss that can cause significant practical difficulties for foreign visitors.
Investigators review CCTV footage
Investigators from the Nongprue Police Station launched a search immediately after the loss was reported. The team systematically reviewed CCTV recordings from the area surrounding the temple and were soon able to locate the wallet based on the video images.

Officers then promptly contacted Biom to inform him of the recovery. When he arrived at the police station, he carefully checked the contents of the wallet and, according to police, confirmed that not a single baht or item was missing.
