Taweechai, known as Nick, flees the scene on a green motorbike, vanishing before police arrive. Emergency responders rush Orjira to Phra Chom Klao Hospital, but she succumbs to her injuries.
Police track suspect to abandoned golf course
Investigators quickly identify Taweechai as the main suspect, citing jealousy as the likely motive. Witnesses report the couple arguing before the attack. Police launch a manhunt, focusing on the Khao Yai subdistrict.
After days of searching, officers find Taweechai hiding in a deserted golf course early on October 8. He is arrested without resistance.
