Anna Watrsang, 32, known as Anna TV Pool, lies in hospital after trying to end her life behind bars. The transgender model and TV presenter was found unconscious last week in a prison cell. Doctors now fight to save her mental health.
Real-Life Tragedy in a Prison Cell
Fellow inmates say they spotted Anna, 32, at the last possible moment. Quick-thinking officers from Corrections Hospital rushed in and took her straight to the clinic. ‘She was unconscious when they got her out,’ an insider shares.
Anna, recently jailed for an alleged property scam, reportedly attempted suicide over a completely separate disaster—a bitter fight about a luxury Mercedes-Benz that’s left her closest friend, Kan Don Mueang, in legal trouble.
Mercedes Row Detonates Family Drama
At the heart of the chaos is a Mercedes-Benz. Anna’s aunt, Juthamas, leased the car for Anna’s work. After Anna’s arrest, her brother secretly pawned the car for cash, aiming to cover legal fees and wages—without telling the aunt.
The drama exploded after four months of missed payments. The car almost vanished to a neighbour country. Friend Kan, 34, a business owner, stepped in, paying 500,000 Baht and another 57,630 Baht in overdue bills just to save the car for Anna’s family.
Friend Betrayed, Aunt Presses Charges
But instead of thanks, Anna’s aunt accused Kan of embezzlement. Kan insists: ‘I never even drove the car. I’ve handed it back, and over the years, I’ve helped Anna with nearly 900,000 Baht.’
Blogger Nicky Sheserve broke the news: ‘Anna felt crushing guilt. Her friend’s in this mess because she tried to help—which she’s been doing for years.’
Brother Steps Up, Anna Under Watch
On Tuesday, Kan reported to police—flanked by Anna’s younger brother and Nicky. Anna’s brother now supports Kan, admitting his own part: ‘I’m the one who pawned the car.’
Anna, 32, a TV host with a history of depression, remains under close watch in hospital. Doctors say her recovery—and future—hangs in the balance.
