PATTAYA, Thailand – A domestic dispute turned violent when a couple allegedly began fighting after the wife confronted her husband with alleged CCTV footage of him with another woman.

A relationship argument escalated around 1:06 AM, revolving around accusations of infidelity. The wife, known by the pseudonym Mayu, claimed to have reviewed the building’s surveillance cameras. The footage reportedly showed her husband bringing a young woman into their shared apartment.
When confronted with this evidence, the husband reportedly denied everything. Instead of an explanation, a physical altercation ensued, according to her account.

Upon arrival, officers from the Nong Prue Police found both individuals inside the apartment. The 42-year-old wife had also suffered injuries during the incident. Her husband, identified as Bas, was also affected.
Paramedics from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center provided immediate medical attention to the couple before transporting them to a local hospital. Police secured evidence at the scene.

Mayu recounted her version of events to investigators. She stated she had endured physical abuse on multiple occasions, feeling unable to defend herself. This time, however, she reached her breaking point.
“I defended myself,”
the police quoted her statement. She described her actions as a spontaneous reaction to the relentless blows.

Bas vehemently denied the infidelity allegations, claiming his wife was imagining things and that he had never been unfaithful. He stated he had only come home drunk and fallen asleep.
According to his account, his wife locked the bedroom door and confronted him without any provocation. He asserted that he was merely defending himself.

The police are now examining both versions of the story. A knife has been secured as evidence, and authorities intend to review the alleged CCTV footage. A decision regarding charges against either party has not yet been made.
