BANGKOK, Thailand – A 21-year-old woman has allegedly killed her older sister inside a luxury condominium in Bangkok’s Sathon district, with her father revealing the younger daughter suffers from a psychiatric condition.

The Yannawa Police Station received a report on June 19, 2026, at 11:08 AM. Responding officers discovered the body of the 23-year-old woman, identified as Siuchong, on the 17th floor of a residential complex. Preliminary medical examinations indicated that the victim had sustained fatal injuries from which there was no chance of survival.

The 69-year-old father, a Chinese national, had left the apartment for work around 8:30 AM, while his Thai wife was out running errands. This left the two daughters alone in the residence. Suspicious, the mother ascended the stairs and discovered her deceased daughter.

She alleged that her older sister had secretly searched her phone and reported to their parents that she was disposing of her psychiatric medications in the toilet. According to reports, the suspect had secretly stopped taking her medication and had disposed of it.
