PATTAYA, THAILAND – Thai police said a fugitive in a high-profile assault on a German tourist was likely the same person suspected of stealing cash and causing a violent rampage at a pool villa just hours later.
German tourist beaten after cash reported missing
The first reported incident took place around midnight on February 24, 2026, when 55-year-old German visitor Mr. Markus was allegedly attacked near Pattaya Beach. According to police, he had earlier invited two transgender women to his hotel room but asked them to leave after realizing they were not biologically female.
He later discovered that a large sum of cash was missing from his room and went out to confront the suspects. When he pursued them to demand the money back, a group of about five to six transgender women allegedly turned on him, beating him severely and leaving him with injuries.
Police stated they had arrested four suspects in connection with the assault, while two others remained at large. One of the fugitives was identified only by the nickname “Fueang Fah”, or “เฟื่องฟ้า”, known for frequently applying heavy white body cream.
Second case: theft and rampage at Huay Yai pool villa
Investigators later suspected that “Fueang Fah” was also involved in a second crime a few hours after the beach assault. At about 3:53 a.m. on the same date, 46-year-old South Korean national Mr. Kim Sangyul and two compatriots reportedly invited three transgender women, including “Fueang Fah,” from Pattaya’s southern beach area to a rented pool villa in Village No. 1 in the Huay Yai sub-district.
During the gathering, Mr. Kim realized that 20,000 baht in cash had gone missing. As he questioned the group about the loss, “Fueang Fah” allegedly became highly agitated and erratic, with witnesses describing her behavior as frenzied or “insane.”
She reportedly screamed, threw objects and brandished a wooden table while threatening those nearby. She was also said to have rolled on the floor, filmed herself with her phone, then run outside, climb the villa’s perimeter wall and scream loudly, startling the Korean guests and the other women present.
According to police, “Fueang Fah” then fled the scene. Mr. Kim and his friends later lodged a complaint with Pol. Lt. Col. Pacharack Suriya, an investigator at Huay Yai Police Station, and submitted partial video clips they had recorded during the incident.

Officers from Pattaya City Police Station and Huay Yai Police Station compared footage from the German assault case with the material from the pool villa. In the earlier case, the suspect identified as “Fueang Fah” appeared to be seen pulling a wallet from the German tourist’s pocket, causing it to fall.
Police said the person in that video matched the individual captured at the Huay Yai villa. Based on the comparison, authorities concluded that the suspect was the same person and was likely connected to both the alleged theft from the German tourist and the later incident involving the South Korean visitor.
The two police stations were now coordinating their investigations as they attempted to track down and arrest “Fueang Fah.” Officers said they aimed to question the suspect further and potentially file charges related to assault and theft in the beach case, as well as theft, property damage and threatening behavior at the pool villa.
