The arrest took place at around 5:30 p.m., while officers from Sub-Division 4, Company 2, Battalion 1 of the Tourist Police were on routine patrol in their jurisdiction. Officers detained the suspect on the spot after the surveillance system flagged him as the subject of an active warrant issued by the Pattaya Provincial Court.

The breakthrough came when the AI-enabled CCTV system reported a match and compared the man’s face with records in the national warrant database maintained by the Central Investigation Bureau.
